I've got a huuuuuuge announcement to make, unfortunately Sarah Palin is on the road and couldn't make it today. She sends her best wishes.

Susie Madrak, who has been C&L's Managing editor for quite some time received a great job offer right before the New Year and has moved on since the 15th. I want to personally thank her for her time here and for the dedication it takes to suit up and show up every day. Anyone who has ever tried to be a blogger for any length of time (6 months minimum) knows how hard it is. The constant grind wears you down physically as well as emotionally, but she stood strong.

It was an easy choice to name Karoli Kuns as the new managing editor. She has been a contributor for a long time and is being promoted from the associate editor position she's held for the last 2 years.

Frances Langum, aka Blue Gal has been part of C&L doing different things over many years, has been promoted as the new associate editor as well.

Congratulations to them all.
