Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain suggested on Sunday that President Barack Obama was making his first visit to a U.S. mosque because he liked to "go kissy-kissy with the Muslim Brotherhood."

The White House announced last week that the president would make the first visit of his presidency to a U.S. mosque on Wednesday.

Cain told Fox News that Obama would be going to the "wrong mosque" if he went through with the plan to visit the Islamic Society of Baltimore.

"There are definite ties between this mosque and the Muslim Brotherhood," Cain insisted. "This mosque is the direct tie with the Muslim Brotherhood."

"He makes it seems as if his administration want to go kissy-kissy with the Muslim Brotherhood," the former GOP hopeful continued. "That is absolutely wrong, they definitely have terrorist ties."

"I have no idea why he picked this mosque, but it is the wrong mosque."

Fox News host Andrea Tantaros agreed: "If he were fighting the radicals as tough as he was fighting Islamophobia, I could take him seriously. But he's not doing both."

According to the Islamic Society of Baltimore's website, the organization aspires "to be the anchor of a growing Muslim community with diverse backgrounds, democratically governed, relating to one another with inclusiveness and tolerance, and interacting with neighbors in an Islamic exemplary manner."
