Of all the ridiculous defenses of Corey Lewandowski being thrown out there by Trump supporters and the candidate himself, I believe I've found the cream of the crop.
Pat Robertson, who is still giving his extraordinary opinions to his flock of believers on The 700 Club, on Wednesday, told them that Donald Trump's campaign manager was just protecting "The Donald" from the female reporter, because she may have been a suicide bomber.
“The female reporter rushed the candidate,” Robertson said. “Where were the Secret Service people who were supposed to defend him? She could’ve had a knife. She could’ve had a gun. She could’ve had a bomb.”
She had a pen.
“Secret Service did nothing so now the aide is being sued,” he lamented.
Robertson’s claim that Fields, a credentialed reporter, rushed Trump conflicts with a police report that found that the presidential candidate was taking questions from the press and signing autographs at the time.
Maybe she was a sleeper agent for ISIS all this time she's worked for Breitbart?
