Utah Senator Mitt Romney spoke out against Trump's infamous dinner with Kanye West and Neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes.
An NBC reporter caught up with the Utah Senator and asked about the Mar-A-Largo dinner over the holiday weekend.
"It's disgusting to invite people like that to meet with a former President of the United States," Romney said. "I think it's been clear that there is no bottom to the degree to which President Trump will degrade himself and the nation."
Not many Republicans have spoken out this forcefully about the West/Fuentes dinner with Trump. Romney and Governor Hutchinson are two notable exceptions.
It's nice to see Romney, who has caved to Trump on more than one occasion, stand up against an admitted anti-Semite receiving attention from a former so-called president.
Trump knows white supremacists and anti-Semites make up his MAGA base, along with Christian nationalists that identify with either group.
It's sickening.
