During Speaker Pelosi's Weekly press conference, Fox News reporter Chad Pergram opened up his questioning with a bizarre statement that Pelosi could not let go.
The Fox News reporter was apparently the last reporter called to ask a question. Hijinks ensued.
"Okay, Chad," Pelosi said.
"Thank you very much," Pegram said. "The first is last. What is it they say? That the first shall be first, and the last... whatever."
"Anyway. My question on the...." Pergram said as Pelosi interrupted him.
"What's he talking about?" Speaker Pelosi asked the rest of the press corp.
"This is Biblical. Is he speaking in Biblical terms now? Fox News goes Biblical!" Speaker Pelosi chided.
Pergram finally asked his question about Republicans trying to delay funding for the military.
Speaker Pelosi told him to ask Republicans about what they are doing, since they want to pass a bill and then refuse to fund it.
"I think that’s a question for the Republicans. You’re saying they’re saying we should have the defense bill passed now, but we’re not going to do this funding until next year. It is totally inconsistent, unsafe, and the rest. So you’ll just have to ask them that. But it is. It just shows you how determined they are not to invest in the American people," she said.
Dark Nancy pwnd Chad Pergram so well, he had to focus on Republican opposition to funding the military instead of griping about Twitter.
