Before we despair about K-Mac grabbing the gavel, may I suggest that what we are witnessing is the birth of a parliamentary system. As long as the Republicans are essentially fractured into some sort of power-sharing deal with the MAGA and with an incredibly weak Speaker, there's opportunity here for a unified Democratic party.
