Joe Scarborough's Morning Joe crew burst out in hard cry-laughing at Trump's 2019 press conference and describing a dog after the military had killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

In a new book by Christopher Miller, Trump's former Acting Secretary of Defense describes how Melania Trump walked into The Situation Room and told her husband to promote the idea of a "hero dog" after the military killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The Morning Joe crew then played the video of Trump's press conference on October 27, 2019, in which he took her advice:

"A Canine, as they call, I call it a dog, a beautiful dog, a talented dog was injured and brought back, but we had no soldier injured, and they did a lot of shooting, and they did a lot of blasting, even not going through the front door," Trump said. "You know, you would think you go through the door. If you’re a normal person, you say, knock, knock, may I come in?"

"Oh my god!" Mike Brzezinski said.

"You know, it’s really, I must say, it is really hard, even a couple of years later, to grasp the reality that that man was ever president of the United States," Scarborough said.

(Breaking into laughter)

"I know! I know!" Mika said.

Scarborough then lost it. "I mean, my God!" "Unbelievable. Unbelievable, but there it is."

"I call it a dog!"

Imitating Trump, "Go through the front door! Just like normal people just walk through the…"

"Remember the bleach? I mean, it’s just, it, there are so many incredulous moments," Brzezinski said.

It's hard to believe that Morning Joe has forgotten how many times they invited "Donald" to call into their show for a powder puff interview during the 2016 presidential campaign.

And what advice Joe gave Trump during their pre-congressional speech "chat" in 2017.

You built that, Morning Joe.
