On Thursday, NBC's Kristen Welker at the Aspen Ideas Festival asked Chelsea Clinton for her "reflections one year after Roe" was overturned, and the former first daughter did not hold back.

"I'm really fucking angry," she said. "And I am, and that is an uncomfortable place to be because of the historical women tropes that so often have been used to kind of silence and diminish kind of women and our voices, not only in this country, you know, but throughout human history."

"But I'm really angry because we know that women have died," Clinton continued. "And so it shouldn't matter that we don't yet have a federal registry."

"When you have families and you have physicians and you have midwives saying, you know, this woman died because she was four days into sepsis because someone still judged that her fetus might be viable," she said. "And so they were worried about providing medically indicated necessary care. And she died? Like that isn't up for debate."

"And so we knowingly have moved forward because we haven't gone back," she continued. "Like we're in 2023."

"Like we have moved forward to again a time in which we are making women more vulnerable because of a very extreme narrowly rendered view of Christian white nationalism," she added.

Exactly. And these 'pro-life' Christian nationalists have little regard for women's lives. They do have a disdain for us, though. They are Jesus-ing wrong.
