Controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on Alex Jones' crazy-time show, where she unleashed a conspiracy theory after thousands of desert-based arts festival attendees that attract celebrities were stranded due to storm flooding.
"Well, you know, God has a way of making sure everyone knows who God is," Greene said after Jones mentioned a "mock sacrifice," which is a thing at the event every year with an effigy.
The Georgia Republican appeared to suggest the extreme weather was a punishment from God because of the mock sacrifice.
"There's 73-75,000 in the Nevada desert right now at this Burning Man," Rep. Sporkfoot said. "They're locked in. They're not allowed to leave, and they're basically probably being brainwashed that climate change is the cause of it and it's going to destroy the Earth. And they're, they're feeling the panic. So, what's going to happen, Alex?"
She expanded on her conspiracy theory, claiming that the attendees would have "stories to tell" about climate change, claiming "it's the Left's new lie they're going to put on the American people and try to get everyone behind [it]...this is what they're brainwashing people to believe."
Jones said, "I totally agree."
How do these people get voted into office? What kind of person listens to her mumblings and thinks, "That's who I want to represent me in Congress!"
