It just goes to show you how wary Fox News is of the next defamation lawsuit coming up.
That would be the one filed by the powerful New York City pension fund, whose investment in Fox and the corresponding lawsuit comes down to this: 800K pensioners saying, "Your lies cost us money."
Clearly, Fox is worried -- worried enough to let the occasional truth slip into their coverage, like this comment by Peter Doocy on Varney & Co. Doocy pretty much admits that the House Oversight committee is looking desperately for anything they can use against Joe Biden, but so far, they've come up with nothing. Nada. Bupkis.
Will that be enough to change the minds of their viewers? Unlikely. They'll probably switch over to Newmax to get that outraged adrenal fix. But it gives Murdoch's legacy corporation a thin veneer of at least attempting to tell the truth, and that might save them some money in the final settlement.
