Fox News contributor Jessica Tarlov finally had enough of her fellow wingnut MAGA hosts continuing to push the notion that the public knowing what was on Hunter Biden's supposed "laptop" would have swayed the election for Trump.
While discussing the Maine decision to keep Trump off of the ballot and her cohost Katie Pavlich bemoaning what happened, and the electorate being so "polarized," Tarlov pointed out that California had decided not to take Trump off of their ballot, before rightfully noting that we've been through much worse times than this, which, of course, was met with immediate push back from her cohosts.
TARLOV: But I do know that the country looks a hell of a lot better than it did on January 6th. And I do know from what...
FAILLA: Honestly, I don't know.
TARLOV: What? Really? Have you seen the footage?
FAILLA: Have you seen the border, have you seen gas prices? Have you seen inflation?
TARLOV: I have and they're down!
FAILLA: There's a precipitous --
CAMPOS-DUFFY: What is better? What is better?
TARLOV: Oh, the economy is better. Crime and safety is better. The border is not better. It is!
FAILLA: He's polling at like 12 percent on the economy,
TARLOV: He's not polling at 12 percent. If you go and look at the Real Clear Politics average and 538 average, you see that Joe Biden is around two points down in the averages there. There are a slew of polls including in-state polls where he's leading Donald Trump, and frankly, there is this denialism about what the last elections have said. Democrats won in 2020. Joe Biden did that by millions of votes on top of it, and the electoral college.
Which Rachel Campos-Duffy responded to by pretending that the entire presidential election turned on that laptop, (not a laptop) with no chain of custody that was hacked into with the rest of Hunter Biden's data.
CAMPOS-DUFFY: By suppressing a laptop.
Which was met with the appropriate mockery from Tarlov:
TARLOV: Oh my God, you think Hunter Biden's penis pictures were going to sway this? (crosstalk) I don't want to see any more pictures.
No, they weren't going to sway the election, but Trump and Rudy and the Russians and the rest of them who were trying to help Trump illegally influence the election were sure hoping it would, and don't forget Trump trying to get the Ukrainians to give him made up dirt on the Bidens was one of the things he was impeached over, but that's straight down the memory hole over on Fox where the Hunter Biden "laptop" story is all about Trump not winning the election, rather than why he and his buddies should be in prison for getting the Russians to try to help put him in office.
