Trump's sorry excuse for a lawyer, Alina Habba, outright threatened retaliation against Trump's political enemies during Charlie Kirk's Christian nationalist "AmericaFest" in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend.
As Rolling Stone reported, the whole thing was pretty much a nightmare when it comes to the people who made an appearance there, and was "infested with antisemitism":
From Holocaust denial to space lasers to white genocide, speakers at Charilie Kirk’s patriotic bash have a dim view of the Jews
Turning Point USA — the far-right, Christian nationalist group run by Charlie Kirk — is kicking off its annual AmericaFest in Phoenix on Saturday. TPUSA bills AmericaFest as a bash for “like-minded” conservatives to celebrate “the greatest country in the world, America.”
But in addition to patriotism, many of the gala’s headliners appear to be of like mind about something much darker: a distrust, distaste, or outright hatred of Jewish people. The celebration comes on the heels of Kirk himself having been called out by prominent conservatives for creating “an anti-Semite problem” for the right.
As they discussed, their list of guests included the likes of Roseanne Barr, Glenn Beck, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson and Erick Erickson.
And the antisemitism was far from the only problem with the people speaking there. As Raw Story reported, they were also treated to the likes of Trump's TV lawyer Alina Habba threatening to help Trump send his Brownshirt Nazis in training after his political enemies if she's awarded a position in his administration:
Attorney Alina Habba hinted on Sunday that Donald Trump could award her with a government position so she could go after the former president's enemies if he wins another term. [...]
"But that is what they do," she told the crowd. "They hide what they've done by going after Trump. Look at the shiny ball, everybody. Don't look at us."
"Well, they've got one year, and then we're going to be looking at them, deep and hard," she said.
Habba suggested that she could be one of the people inside the government tasked with attacking Trump's enemies.
"I'll tell you right now, if I'm in Washington, I'll be relentless, too," she insisted.
Here's to hoping the only "investigation" Trump does of Democrats next year is from the inside of a prison cell, which is where he belongs.
