Markwayne Billy Bob Moon Mullin told Peter Doocy on Fox's The Sunday Briefing that the Democrats are to blame for violent rhetoric and political violence:

Well, I would say you're never safe when you're in the public eye. If you read any of the social media posts, which I choose not to, but you can see the type of rhetoric and the hatefulness that's out there. You see the attacks on President Trump's life every single day, but you have a leader that's out there that's constantly saying, fight, fight, fight. He's leading from the front, and that's what the American people need to know.

But the threats to our elected officials, they don't go away. The rhetoric, the dangerous rhetoric that the Democrats use is absolutely stirring the pot or putting fuel on the flames, and we've got to bring down the temperature, but the temperature is not going to go down on itself.

The American people have to realize that we do have a public, and the republic has different opinions, and it's OK to have different opinions, but when you cross the line and say that that different opinion needs to be silenced, it needs to be silenced through violence.

That's where Homeland comes into play. That's where we're going to stop that violent act. I don't, I mean, free speech is something we all protect, but there's a, there's a line that you can cross that goes from free speech to inciting dangerous behavior, and we have to attack that dangerous behavior at every, every turning point.

Just hours after Mullin was making an ass out of himself on TV, Democratic Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton was attacked during a campaign event:

According to a statement put out by Acton's campaign, an armed individual lunged at Acton while she was at the Canfield Fair in Mahoning County, resulting in the injuries to multiple people who were nearby.

A statement attributed to Addie Bullock, Acton's campaign communications director, said that the Democratic gubernatorial candidate was "grateful" for the swift law enforcement response, but did not directly address whether Acton was injured.

"This kind of violence has no place in Ohio. Dr. Acton will always stand up to the chaos, hate, and vitriol that pits us against one another," continued Bullock.

It was confirmed that several people were injured and that the assailant, who was taken into custody, had multiple weapons on him. A later report confirmed that the suspect, Patrick Havas, had a phone or something like a phone in his hand but also had two guns. He shoved his way to the front, knocking two people down in the process. Dr. Acton remained on the scene to assist those who were injured.

Vivek Ramaswamy's press office issued a statement shortly after the attack, condemning it and all political violence.

What is missing is any mention of DHS or Mullin. Maybe he was too busy preparing his speech for Trumpalooza and couldn't speak with his lips firmly on Trump's diapered ass.
