Less than 24 hours after Donald Trump had a toddler-like meltdown over the Supreme Court ruling against his mail-in-ballots sabotage scheme, a federal district judge ruled in no uncertain terms that Trump's loyalists installed on the board of the Kennedy Center can’t break or skirt the law by putting his name on it without Congress’ approval.

“Simply put, defendants cannot install memorials for President Trump or anyone or anything else at the Kennedy Center without Congress’s blessing,” Judge Christopher R. Cooper ruled.

If that sounds familiar, it’s because Judge Cooper made the same ruling in May. But the board tried to skirt the ruling: by inscribing “Restored and Renovated by President Donald J. Trump” on the building and possibly naming the center’s grounds the “President Donald J. Trump Plaza.”

Unsurprisingly, Judge Cooper called those efforts “linguistic gymnastics” and said both proposals would violate his previous order, The New York Times reported.

“He declined to rule on whether a different inscription — saying ‘endowed by The Trump Kennedy Center Fund’ — would be allowed,” according to The Times, because that would not happen until a Trump endowment fund raises $100 million. “But he suggested that he was not likely to approve it, writing that such language would violate his previous order ‘just as plainly’ as the first proposal."

President Cry Baby's board responded to the ruling by voting to close the Kennedy Center altogether. “Its members argued the institution is in 'dire’ financial and structural shape,” NBC News subsequently reported. The board claims, apparently with straight faces, that having Trump’s name on the building is necessary to save the center from bankruptcy.

In reality, the lickspittles in charge of the center are the ones deliberately causing the money to dry up. As I reported in July, almost as an acknowledgment that Dear Leader's self-glorification plan was illegal, worked to pre-sabotage the Cooper ruling by renaming the then-independent, non-profit Kennedy Center Foundation as the Trump Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Foundation and with bylaws that require gifts to be “returned, refunded, or terminated” if Trump’s name was removed from the building or its branding.

Furthermore, Trump’s very takeover of the center has cost it money, “Since the president took control of the institution at the start of his second term, it has seen waves of cancellations by artists, plummeting attendance by audiences and withdrawal of support from some donors,” The Times said.

Even the claim that it would save the center from bankruptcy is a load of BS. “Judge Cooper asked if it was possible for a charitable trust to declare bankruptcy; the Justice Department lawyers did not have an answer,” The Times reported.

The ego massage from his loyalist Kennedy Center board has not stopped President Sore Loser from another social media meltdown. He’s also threatening to spend even more taxpayer resources by taking the case to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Trump belongs in a rest home, not the White House.

and there it is -- Trump says that if the Supreme Court doesn't allow him to put his name on the Kennedy Center then it will close down for good
