During Saturday's town hall in Michigan, Vice President JD Vance lied about his racism and constant smears of people of color, admitting his "rhetoric has been imperfect."
A young Republican voter named Niv Agoram, who said she voted for JD Vance previously because of immigration issues but since Trump took office has a very different view:
AGORAM: One reason, because of the reasons you just mentioned, I was concerned about border safety, as in the trafficking and the drugs, not because I think immigrants actually take away jobs from Americans, but after seeing ICE behave like military police and you recently call H-1B visa workers foreign indentured servants, I think Americans are anything but safe.
So I'm just curious, why are you scapegoating immigrants for the issues you're supposed to be solving as the vice president?
Great question.
Notice, how JD Vance never once commented on the destructive and deadly behavior of ICE agents unleashed as this administration’s secret police.
Vance was forced to backtrack and lie. "So Niv, first of all, I appreciate the question and I would say, and to the extent that my rhetoric has been imperfect here, that's on me,..." he replied.
Imperfect? JD Vance claimed migrants were stealing cats and dogs off the streets and eating them.
Vance and Trump have used people of color as their whipping post, blaming every problem in this country on them.
Vance then switched to H-1B visas to change the topic.
JD pretended he was sticking up for migrants, explaining when he calls them "indentured servants' he's really looking out for them. The couchf**ker then again blamed the confusion of his beliefs on his "imperfect rhetoric."
Vance then used his wife's family to claim he doesn't demonize immigrants.
As he was filibustering, Tony Dokoupil cut in. "You're not talking about the system or the policy, they're talking about the rhetoric, the language, what they see is dehumanization of immigrants."
"I will tell you that nobody's perfect, certainly not me, but my goal here is not to dehumanize any immigrant, in fact, I love a number of immigrants," Vance stated.
Lie after lie after lie.
