NewsHog: Just imagine if sanity ruled the White House

F.A.I.R.: The most important lesson about the Iraq War for reporters was perhaps the simplest one: Don't assume the White House is telling the truth. At least somebody noticed that the justifications for attacking Iran are on shaky ground

The Intersection: Report from the Waxman Hearings on the Bush administration's political interference in, and misrepresentation of science. More here, and here.  Indeed, it's a whole New Investigation Season!

The Satirical Political Report: Bush/Cheney beat Gore again--on Oscar nominations!

HOLY CRAP: Americans want less religious influence in politics...maybe that's why Senate Chaplain Barry C. Black has canceled his scheduled appearance at a Christian evangelical conference after he was pictured with columnist Ann Coulter and other prominent conservatives in a brochure promoting the event...Apparently, the Southern Baptist Convention has a double standard on gay-friendly literature...School board chickens out over wingnut history teacher...Reverend Moon is not only the owner of The Washington Times and Insight (which brought you the Obama/ madrassa smear), he's also part of a shark poaching ring...

OFF THE BEATEN PATH: The Progressive Truth...Cranky Old Liberal...Day of Shame...Bush Film Art
