Battling against discrimination has been ongoing for centuries, and just when we think we’re finally getting somewhere, a GOP’er has to go and rain on our parade. Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant signed a bill on Thursday that legalizes discrimination against gay people.

Supporters of the bill believe that it will give them the freedom to practice their religion without any interference from the government, but this will also allow them to legally discriminate against people who don’t agree with their beliefs and ultimately grant them the “freedom” to victimize the LGBT community.
