Pat Sajak has come up with some real doozies in his time, but on this one, start with the letter "D" for D-E-N-I-A-L.
Or you could choose "W" for W-I-N-G-N-U-T and be right, too.
For whatever reason, Sajak decided if it's Tuesday, it must be Troll Day, so he tweeted this:
I now believe global warming alarmists are unpatriotic racists knowingly misleading for their own ends. Good night.

It has to be pure trolling, because there's no actual way to get from climate change support to racism that I can see without passing through the intersection of Crazy and Stupid.
He got plenty of reaction, including one from climate scientist Michael Mann:
The tweet earned some replies from supporters, but dozens scoffed at Sajak's sentiment. Climate scientist Michael E. Mann wrote that the consequences of being wrong about climate change are greater than losing a game of “Wheel of Fortune.”
“Hey @PatSajak, this aint the Wheel of Fortune,” Mann wrote. “If we lose this game, it isn't just one person's misfortune. All humanity pays the price.”
A few hours later, he sent another tweet:
Sometimes it's fun to poke a stick in a hornets' nest just to hear the buzzing.

That has a name, Pat. Twitter has lots of trolls, and anyone can be one, but it doesn't really do much to advance causes you pretend to believe in, like civil discourse. Just sayin'.
