Mike's Blog Round Up
November 16, 2014

What a week! We spent a lot of time licking our wounds from the recent election, looking at the state of play for the remaining run-off elections, visited 1954 and visited Kansas, and played with a Ted Cruz coloring book. We learned when to say thank-you (and how to mean it), visited the SCOTUS, and laughed at Jonah Goldberg. Sen. Vitter made a guest appearance, and best of all, we landed a small craft on a comet. Not a bad record for a slow news week, brought to us by 28 or so mostly small bloggers who are researching and reporting some of the best stories that you will never find on the mainstream media. Thank you for letting me be part of your week. Until the next time!

Zander Versus The Stupid reports that Sen. Orrin Hatch serves his vengeance stone cold.

Seeing the Forest sings, "Hey Mr. Postman," don't let the GOP destroy the mail service!

Sky Dancing quotes the Republicans back to the Republicans.

Bonus Track: This Day In Science Fiction gives us all the sci-fi Trivia you need, but I'm especially fascinated that Ed Asner has some sci-fi credits!

Round-up by Tengrain who blogs at Mock, Paper, Scissors and at Liberaland. Send tips, requests, and suggestions to mbru AT crooksandliars DOT com (with "For MBRU" in the subject line).

Can you help us out?

For nearly 20 years we have been exposing Washington lies and untangling media deceit, but now Facebook is drowning us in an ocean of right wing lies. Please give a one-time or recurring donation, or buy a year's subscription for an ad-free experience. Thank you.
