Carly Fiorina's belief that Hillary Clinton must rely on her gender to have a chance at being elected is yet more evidence that even Republican women don't get it.

“If Hillary Clinton were to face a female nominee, there are a whole set of things that she won’t be able to talk about. She won’t be able to talk about being the first woman president. She won’t be able to talk about a war on women without being challenged. She won’t be able to play the gender card,” Fiorina said.

This, from the Demon Sheep lady.

Let's have a look at Hillary Clinton's national qualifications as they stack up against any man running for the Republican nomination -- at least those who have declared.

Hillary Clinton: Eight years as First Lady, with an active policy role for most of her time there. Eight years as United States Senator. Four years as Secretary of State.

Ted Cruz: Solicitor General of Texas, Two years as United States Senator

Marco Rubio: Five years as United States Senator, ten years as Florida Representative, two years as Speaker of the House.

Rand Paul: Five years as United States Senator

Carly Fiorina: Failed CEO of Hewlett-Packard

No one need play a gender card in this race. There is no Republican candidate whose experience stacks up next to Hillary Clinton's, not even Jeb Bush.

Instead, Fiorina said, Clinton would have to talk about her record as secretary of state in President Barack Obama’s first term, as well as her “candor and trustworthiness and her policies.”

Fiorina barely registers in polls of Republican voters but said she believes there is room in the field for someone like her who is not a “professional politician.”

Is there anyone in the room who finds it laughable for any Republican to talk about trustworthiness and policies like they have moral standing to do so?

Hillary Clinton has no need to play the gender card in this race, because it's only relevant to those who need to blow smoke at the very real policy, experience and ideological differences between the candidates.

It isn't Hillary playing the gender card. It's Carly.
