Saturday Night Live has been missing the mark for a very long time now and way too risk adverse for myself and a lot of others to find them very funny for the most part. That said, I do absolutely love Larry David as a grouchy version of Bernie Sanders, and Kate McKinnon's over the top portrayal of a power hungry Hillary Clinton tickles my funny bone.

So here's tonight's Cold Open with SNL's version of the First in the South Democratic Forum hosted by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow. The jokes were lame but the performances by McKinnon and David were outstanding as always.

And shame on NBC for having Trump host, who has just been awful so far.
