A first for the nation, a sitting Vice President presides over a same-sex wedding. Good on Biden!

Being a White House staffer has plenty of perks: one half of the couple, Joe Mahshie, posted this up-close photo of the rainbow-lit White House to Instagram on the day of the Supreme Court's same-sex marriage decision:
