In Rally Speech, Trump Fantasizes About People 'Getting Shot Walking Down The Street'

Another bizarre moment in Trump-land

Here we go with Mr. Law and Order! During his rally in Akron, Ohio, Donald Trump just started fantasizing about people walking down the street and "just getting shot" for no reason.

Remember now, that the NRA is Donald Trump's biggest funder. There are a lot of fears he could play on, but "just getting shot on the street" is a dogwhistle, as usual.

"We'll get rid of the crime," he promised. "You'll be able to walk down the street without getting shot."

"Right now you walk down the street, you get shot," he emphasized. "Look at the statistics. We'll straighten it out."

So, actually, random street shootings aren't as common as Trump would like people to think. In fact, violent street crime is down. But check out the folks sitting behind him as he goes on about just getting shot in the streets. Old, scared white folks.

He went on in this rant to talk about how Democrats just use them for their votes every four years, and then they say "Bye Bye." That remark was almost surely tailored for the African American voter bloc, but there weren't any of those in his audience, that I could see.

That's probably because he's worried about "just getting shot." Sigh.
