Mickey Lee Lane may have only had one dalliance with the American charts when his song "Shaggy Dog" broke the US top 40 in 1964 but he had plenty of would've been/could've been hits if the planets aligned differently.

This one here always gets a room grooving. So much so that the Action and the Detroit Cobras did their own floor filling versions of it. It also helps get a week off on moving pace.
