New Hampshire Republican Senate candidate Don Bolduc refused to admit that schools were not putting cat litter boxes in their classrooms.
Republicans show themselves to be more sick and twisted every day.
Speaking with Ryan Nobles from NBC, Bolduc said it's up to New Hampshire schools to prove they don't have cat litter boxes in their classrooms since one parent and one student told them they were there. Hearsay means schools have to prove a negative? Great straw man, there. Or straw cat, perhaps?
Nobles told the candidate that schools have denied this tomfoolery, but Bolduc would have none of it.
"They don't teach CRT which they do," Bolduc said. (They don't) "They don't teach transgender which they do." (They don't)
How do you teach transgender, exactly?
"I'm not backing down, OK? You got the wrong guy! Just because they say it, they need to prove it! Prove it! I got parents and kids telling me, they need to prove it to us! I don't need to prove it to them," he yelled, as if making bold pronouncements about nonsense proved anything other than his own stupidity.
Bolduc makes many statements with no facts behind them, but you must prove it false, not the teller of lies.
This is crazy, of course.
The cat litter box legend has been promoted by the worst of the Republican party as well as candidates running for election.
Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO); Minnesota gubernatorial candidate Scott Jensen; Michigan Republican Party co-chair Meshawn Maddock; and Nebraska state Sen. Bruce Bostelman. Former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and podcaster Joe Rogan have also promoted the claim.
This is all a distraction to divert voters from what Republicans want to do to them if they gain control of Congress: End Social Security and Medicare and cut the remaining social safety net to ribbons.
