Fox News and Fox Business hosts and guests screamed from the high heavens all day long that the reason Silicon Valley Bank failed was because everything was "woke."
Stuart Varney played a clip of the Home Depot co-founder crying that SVB is a woke company.
"A woke company. Steve, has woke management got anything to do with this banking crisis?" Varney asked to the always creepy Steve Forbes.
"Somewhat -- spending more time on trying to appease the far left," Forbes said.
An hour later on Fox 'News' Outnumbered, Fox Business host David Asman proclaimed the reason SVB failed also was because everything is sooo woke.
"Where was the administration when the problems were beginning?" Asman said. "This was one of those woke banks that believed in the woke talk that was coming from the Federal Reserve."
Watching Fox News, Democratic spending is also woke and is the only cause for inflation.
There's nothing on Fox News about Trump and the Republican Congress repealing bank regulations that would have mitigated the damage.
There's nothing on the supply-chain shortages created by the pandemic. There's nothing about how corporations are gouging consumers.
There's nothing about Peter Thiel's role in sinking SVB.
It's just woke woke woke woke woke.
At first the attack on wokeism was targeted at minorities and women by Republicans, but now it's expanded to any policy, event or person that is detrimental to the GOP, but helpful to 99 percent of this country.
It's been raining out, so the clouds must be woke too.
