Fani Willis sent a reply to Rep. Gym Jordan, who as you may recall has been harassing Willis, and threatening to conduct investigations, and demanding information.
Shorter Fani: Eff-off, shower boy.
My favorite parts begins on page 5, and this is just delicious (emphasis mine):
“While settled constitutional law clearly permits me to ignore your unjustified and illegal intrusion into an open state criminal prosecution…”
I’m not even sure that is a veiled threat, or that Gym is smart enough to know what he just read.
And this is another passage that reads like the worst annual performance review:
Your letter makes clear that you lack a basic understanding of the law, its practice, and the ethical obligations of attorneys generally and prosecutors specifically.
There’s a section titled, Below are Suggestions for Productive Activity by the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.
