Disgraced Texas Attorney General and Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton denies the latest polling data, lies about Texans knowing James Talarico's true record, and thinks he'll win the election when he starts running TV ads.
On Fox News' The Sunday Briefing, host Jackie Heinrich asked Paxton about his upcoming election.
HEINRICH: Want to start with this new Texas Southern University poll. It shows Talarico with a pretty solid lead over you in three congressional districts that the president carried by double digits.
You're down 8 points in the 15th, 10 points in the 28th, and 11 points in the 34th district. This is Texas, after all. How did a Democrat get that far ahead in Trump territory?
PAXTON: Well, first of all, I don't trust all these polls. We have our own polling that suggests maybe a little different result. But we definitely have a close race.
And I can tell you this, I do not believe once we have the resources to expose his views, there's no way he's going to win Texas.
Yeah, I'm going to get to the resources in just a second.
Paxton tried to hijack the interview and Heinrich took it back.
HEINRICH: Yeah, I'm going to get to the resources in just a second. But one more question on this polling, because it does have you running about 20 points behind President Trump's margin in these three districts.
And I hear your point that it's just one poll and that you don't believe it. But is there an issue here with the Trump voters not transferring to you? Do you see the claims about an electability problem?
Or is there anything happening right now with the Trump South Texas coalition that Republicans should be concerned about?
PAXTON: No, I just don't think they know the other side.
They don't know what James Talarico is all about.
He's this sort of unnamed guy that they have no idea what his views are.

So the voters just don't know yet, because we have not been up on TV. But that's coming.
Paxton is begging for Trump PAC money since Talarico is outraising him on campaign funds.
Paxton gets millions of dollars of free advertising from Trump, and from right-wing media including Fox News every day. It doesn't change the fact that he's a crook. Even Texas Republicans think so.
Right wing media continue to paint Talarico as a feminine sissy-man, who wants to mutilate your kids and turn the country into a socialist den of iniquity.
And still Talarico is up by 6 points in Texas.
That's because Texans know about Paxton's record.
Paxton is even afraid to go on Fox News Sunday because even that program would highlight his disgraceful actions.
