Rumors of a new Pixies album got a boost today when the band posted "Bagboy," their first new song since 2004, just two weeks after news of Kim Deal's departure. Black Francis says the song was written in Harvard Square, just steps from where he wrote "Break My Body."

The Amazon link is a "Best of" compilation of Pixies hits that was released in 2004. "Bagboy" is not available for sale as yet...hopefully those new album rumors are more than just rumors.
