For instance, we note that today's RNC opening session (which was supposed to focus on social issues) is cancelled due to Hurricane Isaac, and we wonder where is Pat Robertson to explain to us why? Our sympathies go to the people of Tampa who must endure all this bad luck. Also, we note official GOP hagiographer Peggy Noonan wrote a tampon joke in her WSJ column on Friday... let that sink in for a moment. I think good Doctor Thompson must be kicking himself for missing this convention!
