Yes, the world out there, beyond America's borders, is a scary place, what with ISIS running amok, Ebola devastating parts of Africa, Putin flexing some Cold War-mongering (and hanging out with Bunga Bunga Berlusconi), Canada facing terrorist attacks, students protesting for something resembling genuine democracy in Hong Kong, and Kim Jong-un suffering through a possible gout problem, but there's a lot more going on that doesn't quite get that much attention, like, for example:
Fruits and Votes: An election in questionably democratic Botswana.
Liberal England: Dubious right-wing efforts to recall MPs in the U.K.
Meanwhile:
Perrspectives: What will happen if Obamacare is repealed?
The Duck of Minerva Was Iraq's chemical arsenal justification for war?
Bark Bark Woof Woof: Why do Alaskans insist on electing crazy people?
Round-up by Michael J.W. Stickings of The Reaction. (Twitter: @mjwstickings.) I'll be here through the weekend.
