Once again, a group of NYPD officers have chosen to turn their backs on New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio as he spoke at the funeral for the second police officer gunned down two weeks ago.

This comes after Police Commissioner Bill Bratton's stern reminder that officers have a duty to honor their uniforms and their fallen colleague.

Clearly they feel that it's far more important to send a message to all of New York City that they will not respect the people they police, the mayor, or the Police Commissioner.

Perhaps New York taxpayers should stop signing the paychecks for those who fail to understand who they work for.
