Any good, proper rock-n-roll band can be viewed as some sort of gang.

California's Death Valley Girls have adopted the creedo “Everybody’s gotta be in a gang” from the 1973 trashploitation classic Switchblade Sisters as a way of life.

Combining a cocktail of psychedelic sludge and surf drenched post-punk into a buzz of delight that sounds right at home at a beach party, a very late evening in a musty basement or a beer soaked afternoon in a humid garage their new album, Glow In The Dark, may not help cool down these dog days of August but will get your stereo speakers sweating.
