Trump's favorite New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman’s latest report has him denouncing the story as fake before reminding his former White House press secretary that he made her career possible.
New York Times reporters Shane Goldmacher, Michael C. Bender and Maggie Haberman explained their article Eyeing DeSantis, Trump Readies for a Long Primary Battle. Trump may be in for a brutal primary battle with DeSantis because while he is still the presumptive leader, he doesn't have the support he once had.
Trump always surrounds himself with his cult, so speaking at CPAC while other Republicans did not was unsurprising. And as usual traitor Trump spewed poison, conspiracies and lies during his unhinged speech. Meanwhile, Meatball Ron began a nationwide speaking tour, promoting his ridiculous book and rallying donors for his apparent presidential run.
Trump definitely didn't like this: “President Trump is still the leading candidate,” said Charlie Gerow, a Republican strategist and the vice chairman of CPAC. “But it’s a much more wide-open race than it has been in the past.”
But what really got his goat was being exposed begging Sarah Huckabee Sanders for an endorsement.
What’s more, there is a lack of public support so far from some of his longest-serving aides. On a call weeks ago, Mr. Trump asked Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, his former White House press secretary, to endorse him, and she replied that she would not yet do so, according to two people briefed on the discussion, who asked not to be named discussing the private call.
Supposedly the cockwobbler wasn't mad, but we know what's what. Drumpf must have been furious. So...Trump took to his media platform to rant.
"Nobody has done more for her than me" doesn't sound like he's shrugging off her slight.
He issued a reminder to the new Arkansas governor that he can destroy as well as make her career.
Haberman simply replied "yes, he did."
Of course he did.
