The media ecosystem is treating Robert Kennedy, Jr. as a legitimate Democratic candidate.
They should not.
RFK Jr. is getting plenty of airplay from the likes of Jack Dorsey, Elon Musk, Fox News, the right-wing media complex, and now The Hill:
Democrats are growing concerned that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s profile is rising just as President Biden embarks on a challenging campaign to keep the White House out of Republican control.
I'm highly skeptical of recent polls by Fox News and CNN, but even if the results are correct, his 16%+ are meaningless. No polling done 16 months out before an election is accurate.
Remember Rudy in 2007?
Anti-vaccine conspiracies are not popular with the Democratic party and never will be.
The fringe doesn't need RFK Jr. to stir them up. They have Twitter and Facebook for that.
Giving this damaged person unfettered media attention is not warranted, nor should it ever be.
The consequences of promoting anti-vaccine agitators result in mistrust of all vaccines (not just COVID) that have saved millions upon millions of lives from death and diseases.
The Democratic Party and its supporters are not about to primary a sitting Democratic president either.
An appropriate response is to speak out against COVID and vaccine conspiracies while praising the lifesaving properties that a multitude of vaccines have given to the world.
New Hampshire's anger at losing their primary timing is understandable. However, if New Hampshire were to hold a Democratic presidential primary "debate," they would just be mocking themselves.
