One week after the very sudden end of her 12 and a half year career with Fox News Network, Maria Bartiromo has finally broken her silence in a rather cryptic social media post, hinting that there's more to come.

Taking to her Instagram account, the former Fox News host wrote:

Before too much time passes, I want to thank all of my friends, followers and supporters for all of the kind words. I am so grateful for the outpouring of love this past week on social media & through texts. I love you all and I promise to be back soon w my next moves.

In a similar post on her X account, she wrote, "Thank you to all friends & followers for your amazing words I am so grateful for the outpouring of love on SM & texts. I love you all. here's a great shot of the 🌈 breaking through, I snapped the other day. More to come."

Bartiromo's Fox exit has been interesting, to say the least.

Last week, the network released a terse and pointed statement confirming that Maria was "no longer with Fox News Media," after she had been notably absent from her programs for almost a month.

The immediate assumption, of course, was that Maria was canned by the far-Right network, but her attorney has been quick to snap back at those claims, calling those reports false and threatening to prove as much "whether through the courthouse or otherwise."

Even Trump seemed to be completely blindsided by the news, gushing over her on Truth Social. Recent reporting has indicated that her split from Fox may be connected to her decision to alert Trump's team that Fox leadership had privately prohibited hosts from airing more of the president's election fraud claims.

For Fox's part, it seems there was no love lost, whatever the reason for her departure may be, as they had renamed her "Mornings with Maria" segment to "FOX Business News" by the next day.
