Daily links to great liberal blog posts

I realize there are a lot of people out there, including people on the left, who are apologists for the growing surveillance state: anti-Snowden, anti-Greenwald, pro-NSA, pro-whatever it takes to wage the "war on terror."

So how do you feel about the government mandating filters to restrict access to (and potentially identify those who access) "adult content" on the Internet, while also blacklisting certain search terms to restrict access to undesirable sites? An authoritarian assault on freedom? Well, it’s happening in David Cameron's United Kingdom, home of that poor little Royal Baby.

Marmel: No surprises from the right-wing blab-o-sphere.

Booman Tribune: How to relax your white friends.

Lance Mannion: Telling stories with Nate Silver.

Simply Left Behind: One step closer to pitchforks and torches.

Occasional Planet: Awed by the public library.

Round-up by Michael J.W. Stickings of The Reaction (Twitter: @mjwstickings). I'll be here all week.
