Okay, that's it for me this week, after missing a few days due to the flu. See you further on (up the road).
Needless to say, there was one overriding story this week – no, not those pre-2016 Republican shenanigans starring Jeb and Mitt – and today I want to focus on the aftermath of the Paris terror attacks. As always, there has been a lot of knee-jerk stupidity to be found throughout the media, but looking around the blogosphere to do the round-up I've found many refreshingly thoughtful responses to the attacks and the myriad complex issues surrounding them. Here's a selection.
The Duck of Minerva: Overestimating the Muslim "Other" in Europe.
Stupid Git Says So!: Responding to evil with benevolence.
The Rude Pundit: Engaging in comic blasphemy with subtlety.
The Moderate Voice: Accelerating the Jewish exodus from France.
And over at my place: "The subtlety of monolithic Islam bigotry."
