"Trump is the most despised president in modern American history."
But is the Republican Party now the Party of Trump? Will it rid itself of this orange monstrosity, or will it continue to undermine democracy in support of a corrupt, authoritarian regime (with the head of that regime acting more as propagandist and cheerleader)?
Or will it take a bloodbath next year for anything to change?
And even then, if then, will any lessons have been learned? Not for Republicans, but the key is to stop this kleptocratic fascism as quickly and as decisively as possible. So how will Democrats move forward to succeed at the polls?
And will voters respond like they did in Virginia, New Jersey, and Alabama?
Who knows? Just consider the case of the "Orlando man [who] took a 'large quantity of molly' and got stranded on a fountain." The world is weird. Try to explain it.
