Another MAGA Rat Flees Trump's Sinking Oil Tanker

Tom Tiffany is trying to distance himself from Trump's war with Iran and high gas prices, but his words don't match his votes.

Early in 2026, Tom Tiffany bragged about gas prices falling and repeated the mantra, "Promises made, promises kept." Shortly after Trump started his illegal and unnecessary war with Iran, that campaign slogan fell apart as gas prices started to soar.

By mid-May, Tiffany started to say it was time to get out of Iran. Tiffany immediately flipped again and voted no on a measure that would have ended the war. He went on to vote a total of five times to keep the war going, even though he said he wanted out.

Now that gas, especially diesel, is hitting all-time highs, Tiffany is again changing his tune back to the Get-Out-Of-Iran blues. When asked about his votes to continue the war, Tiffany showed that he was still proficient at shoveling shit:

Tiffany explained that he voted against measures to end the conflict because he believes the “president has that authority, and so he should exercise that authority.”

Congress holds the sole power to declare war under the U.S. Constitution.

“The president has final say in regards to this, but I just believe that we should be exiting Iran,” Tiffany said. “It’s time to move on. We’ve degraded their nuclear facilities. We degraded their military. Most of their ships are on the bottom of the ocean. Time to come home, take care of business here in America.”

It's definitely time for Tiffany to retire to Grumpy Acres Holme for Retired Fascists.
