I'm not one to think the media should be blamed for Trump, at least not entirely, but, even allowing for notable exceptions (yes, there has been some good reporting; yes, there are some media outlets that actually fact-check Trump and call him out on his continuous stream of lies and BS), the gawking fascination with all things Trump juxtaposed with the ongoing, right-wing-fueled smear campaign against all things Clinton is just too obvious to ignore. So while a neo-fascist white supremacist (or whatever you want to call him) gets all the free media attention he could ever want, Hillary not just gets little to no attention for her substantial policy platform but gets dragged through the mud over faux scandals like her e-mails and the Clinton Foundation. And she gets dragged through it even by the pillars of the supposedly liberal media establishment.
Mock Paper Scissors: It's time to take action against media failure!
Ok-Cleek: Speaking of media failure, even NPR is to blame.
Frankly Curious: And so Trump's numbers look better because of Clinton's bad press. But at least the latest jobs report wasn't terrible.
Lance Mannion: Not that it matters. For the media, it's all about the drama. And that gives Trump a shot.
