Donald Trump is visiting Milwaukee tonight, because they don't have enough issues right now without him adding to the mix.
In an interview with WKBT-TV, Trump dashed the hopes of all the Republican establishment types who thought maybe he'd make that mythical "pivot" to general election mode.
"I am who I am," Trump defiantly declared. "I don't want to change. Everyone talks about 'oh are you gonna pivot?' I don't want to pivot. I mean you have to be you. If you start pivoting, you are not being honest with people."
Also in the course of the interview, he unapologetically extolled the virtues of veterans while never acknowledging his own smarmy smears of the family of one particular Muslim veteran.
Deep in the bowels of the Republican National Committee, Reince Priebus looked longingly at his glimmering saber on the table, wondering if he should fall upon it now, or wait until November.
